Elude is a badge glove added on December 16th, 2022. It requires the EXPOSED badge to obtain. Its appearance consists of a pitch-black glove with realistic eyes on it, and its handle is completely black.

Obtainment[]

In order to obtain the EXPOSED badge, players will first have to find a keypad. This keypad has a 20% chance of spawning every 10 minutes (1 in 5 chance), and can spawn on either the back of the Slapple Island main tree or the back of the Moai Island tree. After inputting the correct code, you will be teleported to a place titled ?, also known as the Elude Maze.

Upon spawning in, you will find yourself in a large maze. The goal is to find 4 artifacts hidden in the maze before a 666 second (11 minutes and 6 seconds) timer runs out. As soon as you collect the 4th and final item, you will be transported to an altar that has the glove resting on it. When you touch the glove, you will be given the badge and subsequently kicked a few moments later.

Detailed Maze Guide[]

Here is a detailed guide for anyone struggling with obtaining the glove (all the relic guides are as if you were starting from spawn, follow the cheat sheet as without it the guide might be wrong). It may be useful to know that getting the relics is the same process, a long hallway followed by a specific set of turns that repeats for all 4 relics, and it helps to memorize the turns to find the relics.

1st relic (third on cheat sheet): Start off by turning 90 degrees to the left (your right arm is facing the map). Walk diagonally to the right, then keep walking straight until you reach a wall. Take a right. Take a second right. Take a third right. Take a left. Take a left again. Take a right. Take a left. Take another left. Take a right. Take a left twice. Take a right. Take a right. Take a final left. 2nd relic (first on cheat sheet): Walk straight for a bit. Take a left three times. Take a right three times. Take a left. Take a right three times again. Take a left twice. Obtainment Tricks[] When joining a server, go to the back wall and use shiftlock to x-ray onto slapple island to check for the keypad. If there is no keypad, immediately enter the Default Arena portal and jump down to Moai Island. If the keypad isn’t there either, leave and rejoin a different server, then repeat the process. Or join a server that is near 10 minutes if not there repeat. Setting the server size to “Ascending” in your server list will allow you to join small servers, hopefully free of competition for the keypad. Using Wormhole, you can set up a portal system linking the 2 islands, allowing you to check both potential spawn locations at a moment’s notice. Try joining small servers to make it easier to get to the keypad. Using Phase or Charge is also extremely useful because of its ability, you can travel faster, go to Moai Island (the ability makes you float) and short cooldown, the ability also has a pretty decent duration and immunity so you can type on the keypad (when you unequip your glove) while being invincible. You can use fish to dive to the Moai Island (given the correct amount of momentum and precise landing, but jumping before using the ability makes it easier). You can also use God's Hand to time stop so you can safely input the code in the keypad without being slapped, unless there is a Killstreak and/or Reaper with 10 or more kills. You can camp the keypad with MEGAROCK, so you can input the code in the keypad without being slapped off. It also blocks the view to other players so it would be harder for them to type on the keypad and if a player touches you while the ability is active, they will turn into stone and die, unless someone uses Swapper and swaps location with you. Diamond also works. Since Spectator can interact with the keypad, using its invincibility can bypass God's Hand time stop, Swapper’s swap, Pusher’s wall, and any form of knockback, allowing you to type in the code without being interrupted. Server hopping across the Killstreak Only servers may allow you to find a keypad quickly, as they will more than likely be forgotten about in the chaos. Upon joining a new server, check the Server Age sign located in between the Default Arena portal and the No One-Shot Gloves portal. If the final digit is an 8 or a 9, wait until it hits 0, then check both potential spawn locations. If the digit is 1, quickly check the spawn locations as it may have spawned. Ability[]

Elude’s ability, Relocation, is almost a combination of the abilities from Adios and Ultra Instinct. Upon being slapped, the user will teleport to a random location on the map, dodging the slap in the process. These locations include:

Anywhere on the Main Island. The North, East, and West islands. Any of the bridges connecting the smaller islands to the Main Island. Slapple Island. Moai Island. The Fort. The Plate. On top of the Cube of Death. On top of MEGAROCK or Pusher’s wall (if available)

When the user is teleported, they will leave behind an area of black smoke. This will disappear after a second.

Pros and Cons[] Pros[] You are immune to being slapped (besides Shukuchi's ability). You are immune to nearly all passive abilities. When someone slaps you, they don't get any slaps. The passive ability makes it impossible for Killstreak/Reaper users to get any kills to add to their streak. Makes it easier to travel to different islands. Can dodge the abilities of Charge, Sparky, and Whirlwind. You can't die with this glove, except if you fall into the void, touch the Cube of Death, get teleported on top of a MEGAROCK or CUSTOM, or by bob and rob. Cons[] Some gloves are still able to slap you through the use of abilities, such as Replica, Shukuchi, Engineer, Coil, bus and Home Run. You have no control of the passive, so you may accidentally die if you get teleported somewhere inconvenient, such as a bridge to an island. Most abilities can still affect the Elude user. You can get teleported on top of the Cube of Death or on top of a MEGAROCK, which will instantly kill the user. Though it is possible to survive with some lag or spam jumping. You can also get teleported to the Moai Island, which will trap the user there unless you reset. If the user gets teleported, you wouldn't be able to slap the user who slapped you, resulting in fewer slaps made. Ability is bypassed while under Boogie's ability. Reverse can reverse the slap. If you get teleported far away from a desired location, it can sometimes take a while to walk back to that location. Trivia[] This is one of the gloves that contains lore behind it. The other glove is bob. This glove used to be called "nah" and its ability was called "cya." This is the third glove to change its name shortly after release. The first glove to do this was Brick and the second was Booster. We can see the "nah" glove only during the Christmas event. The glove was also white with black lines across it when it was named "nah". Elude is the second glove to not have its obtainment method shown after it was released. First being Glitch, third being Goofy, fourth being Recall and fifth being Null. The nah glove was supposed to be obtained from the “Engineer’s Gift” badge. The glove's texture and infobox, along with the Elude Maze, seem to take inspiration from the dreamcore aesthetic. This glove, Ultra Instinct, and Adios all have similar evasive abilities. It has been theorized that the Elude glove was created by bob. The reason for this is the many eyes on both the glove and banner. The glove's texture can be found here. The texture references Dreamcore/Horrorcore aesthetic genres. The gloves name means to evade or escape from (a danger, enemy, or pursuer), typically in a skillful or cunning way. Vulnerabilities & Code[] Elude creates a part called "Eludepoof" each time an elude user gets slapped, this part creates Elude's effect each time you get slapped. Due to the particles that elude emits, exploiters are able to detect whenever this part is added to the game's Workspace and teleport to it instantaneously. To fix this, Tencelll must add a small check each time the user gets teleported, teleport the user, wait 0.2 seconds and get the distance between the Eludepoof part and the player. Gallery[]
